• The necessary cost of clothing, if different from that of a religious wedding: between 300-1000 lei;
• Costs for the bride’s makeup and hairstyle, if applicable: 350 lei;
• The bride’s bouquet, between 150 and 300 lei;
• Photographer employee of the Municipality: 200 lei; If the service is carried out by the photographer or by an agency appointed by the bride and groom, the cost for the entire event varies between 3500-5000 lei;
• The champagne and appetizers served to guests, approximately 15-25 lei/person, vary depending on the number of guests;
• Hostese, if applicable: between 150-400 lei.

Costs for a religious wedding:

• Wedding invitations, which vary depending on the paper, the color, the chosen model (romantic, floral, vintage): between 0.9-2.8 lei/pc;
• The costs for the bride’s clothing (dress, shoes, veil and hair, bag, jewelry, special garter), between 1000-5000 lei;
• Costs for the bride’s makeup and hairstyling for occasions, if applicable: minimum 350 lei;
• The costs for the groom’s suit (shoes, dress, waistcoat, lavalre, shirt, buttons), between 500-2000 lei;
• The bride’s bouquet, between 200 and 300 lei;
• Godfather bouquets, bridesmaids and small flowers for parents and godfather: 150-300 lei;
• The rings start from 200 lei and go up to 2000 lei;
• Church fees, which vary depending on the size of the church or its location: between 500-2000 lei; If other services are requested, such as a choir, they are paid separately;
• Special wedding candles for brides and godparents, between 400-700 lei;
• Champagne, lighter, wine for the religious ceremony, 100-500 lei;
• Photographer and cameraman, with prices starting from 2500 lei each; They can be chosen on time and a beneficial package can be negotiated.

The charges for all these special wedding services and packages depend on the tastes and preferences of the bride and other people involved in organizing this special event.

As regards the costs related to the wedding party itself, they are directly related to the size of the event and implicitly to the number of guests. Since many restrictions are in place this year due to the pandemic, some events also require a limited number of guests. It can vary from 50 to a maximum of 300, depending on the capacity of the party room.

If you organize a wedding in 2022 you will have to make choices taking into account these possible restrictions on the size of the room and the number of guests. These data will dictate and can implicitly modify the cost estimate relating to the organization of the wedding. Specifically, expenses can increase or be amortized based on the number of people participating in the event.

• Arrangement of tables with fronts, special chair covers, napkins: 15-25 lei/guest;
• Tables with floral decorations, 150-200 lei/meal for 6-8 people;
• Special testimonials on the tables, between 18-25 lei/person, depending on the model;
• Costs of gastronomic menus: between 180-300 lei/guest;
• Cost of drinks package from the wedding venue, between 50-90 lei/guest;
• Cost of the fruit menu, between 4-6 lei/person;
• Separate cost of the chocolate bar, minimum 500 lei;
• The special wedding cake, between 30-100 lei/kg;
• The envelopes on the guest tables, between 1-2 lei per couple;

Furthermore, at every wedding it is customary for each guest to receive a small souvenir to remember the happy event in which they took part. These testimonials can be a small tray with sweets or a box of sweets, accompanied by a bottle of wine, pike or champagne. Prices for paper or cardboard packaging vary between 0.8-2.5 lei/guest and for other testimonials between 1-35 lei, depending on the color, model, structure, etc.

The budget for a wedding organized today in Romania must be generous enough to cover all these expenses. Naturally all these costs are dictated by the preferences of the most important people, namely the spouses.
