Weddings of 2018 – Dear people, themes and trends is our way of saying thank you for a story of 2018.
Our dear people, the brides of our soul who were with us in 2018
2018 was very special for us, but above all exciting: we celebrated 10 years with I Weddings – www.nuntiinerliber.ro, Voichi, our first bride returned for the 10 year wedding anniversary party and we hosted over 40 weddings with soul.
I would say that this year weddings with personality and soul prevailed, and with a close connection with the walk in nature, whether we are talking about an enchanted forest or a chain of lavender or the sea. All the themes were closely linked to the brides’ history, the things they are used to doing together, their hobbies and their personalities.
Dear ones, thank you for choosing us on the most important day of your life.
Wedding themes 2018: Magical Fairy Wedding, Dare, Lavader & Music, Maritima & Calatorii
Here are some of the themes for 2018:
We started the season with the Magical Fairy Wedding, meaning lots of greenery and light, as if we were in an enchanted forest. Green chandeliers, light through trees, warm colors, pastels, spring flowers, greenery, tree bark and wooden trunks. The fairytale atmosphere enveloped the tent on the lake and the weddings were celebrated.
I continued with a wedding with a lot of soul, with many soulful messages to the guests, #nuntelibre. The idea I started from was «dare!».
There were many surprises for the family, noses, guests, emotional speeches, tears of joy and a lot of soul. Probably the most representative thing was the dose of well-being, the testimony received from the guests, a jar to collect good thoughts, the first good thought already arrived from the weddings. And here I had natural and simple tendencies, with Scandinavian, green with pastel spots, in geometric shapes.
A meeting followed, 2 dear ones, returned for baptism. I celebrated the little Luca swing with a green decoration and light orange and gray polka dots, along with many wooden elements, made by Art the Wood.
In June I celebrated Shabby Chic with lots of lavender and musical notes, because yes, our bride is talented. Lavender predominated, all the floral arrangements contained the aromatic plant, we dressed some jars with lavender candles and even drank lavender lemonade. A delight!
In August we had fun until the morning as if in costume, with shells and starfish, with sand and stones, with lots of good music and gunshots.
We continued with a wedding full of messages of love, not only between weddings but towards people, the community and everything around us. A simple and cute wedding with green, pastels and blue, like their eyes.
Then I had a wedding in sneakers, goodwill, like on vacation on the seafront. Again blue, blue and white, jars, white string, sea salt as evidence.
I ended the season with two wedding weddings, one with thunderous influences, the other with names at the table.
The 2018 trends that will influence 2019 weddings
The end of the wedding season gave us the opportunity to recap brides’ preferences. Surely some of these trends identified will be repeated in the new year, we hope that the lines below can inspire you for your wedding.

- The clothing of guests and brides is increasingly comfortable
- Shots are among your favorite drinks
- atypical flowers are the bride’s favorite
- The civil marriage does not take place on the same day as the religious ceremony and the wedding party
- Civil wedding bouquets are still on the wish list
- Garden roses are increasingly sought after
- Most couples opt for Trash the Dress (TTD)
- Many brides add the drone video package
- Most couples I have worked with have abandoned the «bridal stole» habit.
- Outdoor weddings are increasingly in demand, many brides wanted at least the start of the wedding to take place outdoors
- More and more people want an outdoor photography corner
- Priority is given to bands for wedding music
- Wear naked torture with natural flower decorations
