Wedding trends 2014

What will the brides announced in 2014 wear? What accessories, what color? What type of cake will brides choose in 2014 and, above all, what color will the pigeons have in the coming year? Will we have flowers arranged in chandeliers or boxes? What kind of invitations do they wear? And how should we dress our bridesmaids, to be present trend? There are tormenting questions, surely, for all the brides in the world… well, I’m kidding! I hope that he is, in fact, not interested in everyone’s limitations.

I admit, what follows is not even an article on 2014 wedding trends. It began, however, that at any end of the year the puhoi of articles arrived, some extremely documented (i.e. they don’t even have a wedding designer or a specialized magazine) from outside, Thank you for describing the dream wedding of the publisher Most-Putin-IncSpirate), others more elaborate, with examples taken from the collections of the great wedding dress designers, the Pantone color of the year and the latest bags or wedding services. Whether you read one or the other, the result is equally damaging, in my view.

I expressed my opinion on wedding trends in the interview I gave for Thebride.pro, which you can read here. I don’t particularly believe in it and I won’t start now. Naturally I find inspiration in the news of the sector, but from here to following or even establishing trends, the road is long. Trends are, in short, rules to follow – consumption rules, more precisely – which manage, in a row or together, to scare, 2. annoy, 3. convince to spend as much as possible, to the advantage of those who «set» these rules and of the collateral industry.

Please, although, the better I know how to tell you and explain it to you, you only read with critical eyes. Don’t let him do it taken. Don’t let them reach your soul wife. Try to preserve, first of all, mental health, and secondly, full pockets. Don’t go into shops decorated just for trendy reasons. Don’t get your wedding dress because it’s fashionable, but because you like it and it will look fantastic. Don’t apply makeup that makes you look ridiculous just because… and don’t choose a hand-painted butterfly cake design just because…

I would like to talk more often and more about the things that really matter in marriages. About what you feel, not what you can buy. Therefore, I created my own trends. And I promise that I will try to respect them, as much as I can, from my share of work. So here’s what they are TRENDS ideal For 2014 weddings:

They will be with a groom and a bride, who love themselves from the fire mother and who respect their parents and their families; with which they will easily organize the best party of their lives.

Weddings in 2014 won’t be about the type of chairs, the table, the flower in the bridesmaid’s hair or the color of the navy dress, but just the things that matter.

The 2014 wedding trends do not tell us the color preferred by guests, but they reveal that there will be fewer people who are not able to respect a wedding invitation and there will be fewer weddings that are not able to respect a guest.

There will be no shortage of weddings with good music, carefully chosen by DJs and dedicated weddings, together, for a playlist. And just as few guests were disappointed as «he put her with that… (fill in the dotted line)…».

Finally, the weddings of 2014, I hope and wish you from the bottom of my heart, will be about people and for them.
