Rustic Chic: a wedding full of surprises

Monica wrote to me in October 2013, almost two years before the wedding that would have been. Even though he wanted to take everything early, do things «right», don’t think he murdered me with emails or insistence. I actually had a pretty simple discussion about expectations To them, about my services, and then we saw everything.

The first official meeting with Monica and Alex took place in May 2014, even at the restaurant chosen for the wedding, more precisely the Măgura tourist complex, in Buzău county. There we set up everything I had to do, we discussed the menu proposed by the restaurant and we enjoyed the view offered by the hills and all the greenery surrounding the guesthouse.

Each of us at our home, them in France, me in Bucharest, we began to each take the pieces that would build the story of their marriage. I believe that the first thing I set was the rustic wedding style, because the specificity of the restaurant asked for, but did not exaggerate, «calm down» by other more elegant tones. Monica’s passion for the sunflower, which I was very afraid of (because it is not a flower with which to stray too far from the rustic and does not offer too many compositional or complementary options) gave us the basic color of the wedding. Solar yellow. As for the flowers, I let Codruța (Eventi Bianchi) take care of it entirely, without interventions (thing rare For my part, I know!). Codruța also offered us the overall image we needed, that harmonious combination of rustic and elegant. Thus the white, cotton tables appeared, but also the chairs with crochet and lace edges, which I rented from Yes Events.

testimonials There were honey-colored jackets with personalized labels, each accompanied by Honey Dippers. And for the memory corner I used decorative white stones, on which guests left funny messages and more interesting wishes.

Having the visual part in my hands as expert as possible, I didn’t have any emotions even with the rest of the team.

For the ladies’ hairstyles and make-up I relied expert hands of Sorin Sun Hair and Grande Rădulescu, whom I thank for the Bucharest – Buzău Move and for the excellent results they always achieve, in any working condition 🙂

For the photo Monica and Alex chose Claudiu Vișan and I admit that I had no objections. As for videos, I recommend Sorin Mănăstireanu-Video Boutique, with which I know things will go well, without exceptions.

I also had a photography corner, but also of all kinds for the enjoyment of the guests!

On the side of funwe have decided, after long searches for suitable troops, to go beyond «just» with DJsure (they) will no longer be and convinced (I) that Alex Vișan is the best option for their party. And we were not disappointed at all!

I also want to mention the Barblade cocktail bar, which helped us with the mobile bar, but also with the tastiest recipes of Sangria, Mojito and Mint Julep. Receiving guests with Sangria Instead, champagne was a choice appreciated by all the guests. Being one of Monica’s favorite drinks, I think I’m aiming here and up customization!

cake It was the easiest decision of all, although I can honestly tell you that none of it was agonizing or delayed. Cristina, aka Sweet Ela, would be the creator of the cakes, both for the godfather (gift from the bride) and for the big one, the wedding. It was a wedding with Many surprises: Speeches, photographic projections, gifts and celebrations, everything found its place in a relaxed party, where no one felt the obligation to behave «like at the wedding» and not even the brides took into account any rules of questionable importance.

They were and adventures along the way, but they just happen to do things memorablebecause simple weddings are not banal anyway and people who know exactly what to do will never be boring, on the contrary!

I’m left with the feeling that they are people who are worth everything All the effort of the team and all the worries of the day! Because they truly love everything that happens around them, without asking themselves their tormenting questions what if. I take things as a joke and live their moment, as it is and as they wanted.

Plus I also discovered a place where I would like to return for other weddings. Opinion of the amateurs!
