I met Ioana and Sorin at Andrei and Teodor’s wedding. I didn’t know then that they would become my clients, that I would discover two extraordinary people and that they would open the 2015 season of my weddings. 😛

To start off I want to say that I like weddings in May. Besides the fact that I don’t believe in superstitions, wedding-related superstitions in general are really fun. However, I didn’t have to look for less nice places for the wedding even once, because in May there were «no problems» for such an event. Sometimes it isn’t even the bride’s superstition or fear, but that of the mother, who knows from the elders that it is not good to celebrate the wedding in May. I’m proud of the happy couples I helped marry(e) in May! As a final note to this idea, I am the least superstitious person I know. And you can count on me to fight any superstition, at (almost) any time!

Ioana and Sorin knew from the beginning that they would get married in May 🙂 However, I spent some time looking for venues. The truth is that each of the options I had in mind was missing something and it was more difficult until I found the smallest compromise. But then things took shape naturally, I would even say brilliantly naturally, because on the day of the wedding I worked with two very dear friends, not with two clients. I know it seems like a mega custom cliché, I just don’t know how to tell you that I felt part of their universe (wedding, other) and that they understand mine with great common sense and that it’s not a problem that can’t be discussed, and it’s not a misunderstanding.
After solving the part with the restaurant, we started to cut out some stories with the greenery (and) the forest, with recycled cardboard costumes, with handmade wedding testimonials (sic!), With live music, with (multiple) snacks and many more above.

The next stop, however, was discussion with and about photographers. I was very happy when the two told me that they wanted to work with Marius Bărbulescu, with whom I had been waiting to collaborate for a long time. The match was at the pace seen, pleasant, scored, controlled. And it was a good thing that it was like this, as you can see from the photos that illustrate this article 😛

We thought a little about the music, but not too much, because Sorin declared himself convinced of the benefits of the Popas Band, then Marius Popa convinced us that we have to leave the music on his behalf and that it will be good. Here I want to make a brief parenthesis and tell you that Marius Popa is a man with so much common sense that he seems to come from another time. It may be all the fault of the original costume and with which he shows up at events, I’m not saying no… but this man looks great, I tell you!

It took a long time and we chose with the guests, which we worked with the greatest pleasure and dearly. Even though it took a little longer than it should have, the result was super loud, which I really like and cherishes my passionate pride in design and other «manual» projects :). The two also wanted online invitations, so we created the services offered by Seasaret.com, which means, in short, the newest and most interactive system for inviting to the wedding!

With the flowers I had a short (maybe two?) but meaningful discussion with Codruța from Eventi Bianchi and set up some messy bouquets and the best wedding candles, but also a reception table with Escort Card, among muscles, green wheat and orchids (and this meal was my favorite place of the wedding!)

Ioana’s dress was occupied by Lena Criveanu, with whom we arrived at the third successful collaboration. For me, a bespoke wedding dress means a lot of heart palpitations, a little added stress from intermediate samples and surprise the final product. This is not the case with Lena, a perfect professional, who works with a great sense of responsibility and from which you always leave with a smile on your face!

The outfit was completed by the little one something Magic team, namely Mara Rădulescu (makeup artist) and Sorin Sun Hair (man with scissors: P). About which there is no need to say big words, that their hand is still present in every photo 😛

For the bridal dance I went where I knew things would go well, that is to Rigadonne. I can assure you that the result is one hundred percent represented on the brides and that the moment was free of stress, uncomfortable post and (Ca) robotic movements.

To ensure that the work was properly documented, but also because it was a museum in which to get a little confused Sorini, Sorin Mănăstireanu-Video Boutique, which knows how to do everything in order to remove the best friends from the cliché (and anonymized) has taken care of it.

Finally, I want to tell you a little about the party. It was bad dementia, I tell you! The guests, but above all the spouses, made proclamations with all the fun setups, even on the dance floor, they refreshed themselves with some good and abundant Gelato d’Amore, listened to some farinata music (chosen according to the spouses’ taste, but without complaining) and danced while standing. And the head. Word from Marius, if he doesn’t have any photos of this wedding party, then from which one?

More photos – here. I can only say this to myself, but to the team, to more!
