What was the first thing? Wedding or tent? The story of Matrimoni began in 2008 with this question. Since then the I Weddings team has grown tremendously.

The right amount of challenges and satisfactions are the recipe for success of every marriage and what encourages us to want more. Summer weekend mornings always surprise us, but happy ones. When we see the wide smiles of the bride’s girls, we forget about the fatigue and stress.

10 years of I Weddings-Wedders.ro have passed like wind and thought, and every year we have decided to bring something more, every season has given us the courage to want more.

How the wedding planning team was born and what keeps us together

Find out how four girls passionate about events met and set up the country to transform classic weddings into parties where everyone, but especially brides, has fun. Simona, Liana, Ana and Ana Maria always make sure that the bride and groom feel great and don’t worry about their wedding day.

I can’t say I’ve always wanted to organize events. I met Simona when I was still at university and in that period I joined the team to organize graduation parties and dances. At the time I thought it would be a temporary job. Then the tent appeared, we started planning weddings and we absolutely loved this camp. Over time, the things I discovered in common with Simona and, then, with the rest of the team, made me stay: the values ​​we believe in, the way we chose to do this activity with a soul, the way we solve our problems when they arise.

I think the biggest achievement is that we managed to organize, most of them, the type of events this tent was designed for and that we didn’t deviate from the ideas we started with.

Finally, the thanks and happiness that can be seen on the bride’s faces are the most important thing for us.

Ana – Wedding Planner I do weddings – nuntiinaerliber.ro

Even before I finished university I already knew I wanted to organize events. After having the opportunity to work in a hotel I realized that the environment was not favorable for me, in the sense that I would have wanted something closer to my soul. Putting my research, I gave Simona and her team. Once I got to the interview with Simona I had the same feeling you get when you go out for a beer and just talk, it’s certainly not a classic interview.

Getting to know the girls better, the pleasant working environment they create and the fact that I don’t put up barriers when they make proposals and suggestions, are the reasons that determined me to stay in the I Weddings team. For example, I was encouraged by my colleagues when I finished the Floral Designer course and decided to do two jobs at the same time: Wedding Planner for Weddings and Florist.

Over the years I have realized that every situation that seems difficult is a way to learn something good. What I can concretely say is this I discovered how to communicate better with customers. It seems like little, but when you work in this field it means a lot.

This work «found» me, and it did. I wasn’t planning on hiring, but after a period of not organizing events I realized that I miss doing this. So I sent a CV to I Weddings. Liana called me and proposed a meeting, the rest is history.

Here I am challenged and encouraged to develop every day, which is why I think it is the ideal job for me. I’ll give you a concrete example: ever since I knew it, I’ve been afraid of speaking in public. Even when I had to place a simple pizza order I felt uncomfortable, which is why I prefer to place the order online. But since I’ve been working here the situation has changed. By being forced to speak, often to ensure I conveyed the correct message, I overcame this fear. I can say that right now I can order different types of pizza, with all types of toppings, without panicking. 🙂

I’m grateful because within the I Weddings team I learned that it’s okay not to know certain things, a great way to evolve: when you don’t know how to document and inform yourself.

The greatest reward is the happiness I see on my brides’ faces. I am thrilled with every dance of the brides, when I see them beautiful and happy, knowing that they trust me to organize their wedding.

Simona – Head of Wedding Planning – nuntiinaerliber.ro

10 years ago, when I started it all, I was just a handful of brave and enthusiastic people. I didn’t know how many jumps it would take to get over, I just had faith that we would get over them. In February 2008, when I was full of mud at the top of the hill and thought about where the tent, stairs and dock would be, I didn’t imagine that in 10 years it would be like this. We started with hopes that grew every year and people like Voichita gave us the courage that things could be different.

I have learned so many things in these 10 years that it is difficult to put it into words. I learned what a business in Romania entails, I learned that without people things are not possible. I learned that if you feel good at work you are very successful in life. We are a small company, but with good people, we help as much as we can and that’s a big deal. There have been, and are, challenges every year, but we face them together.

The greatest achievement is this team of people that I feel like I can do.
