Andreea wrote to me one evening in mid-May. He started telling me about the wedding that would take place at the end of September, the 21st, in Ploiesti and that we had to organize remotely, via telephone, email and Skype. The first feeling was positive, I said it couldn’t be complicated. I have organized weddings with long-distance spouses, this is nothing new. I really like it, plus I have the advantage of having almost all conversations written down, so I can easily go back to established details.
First we gathered what he wanted, an elegant but not pompous wedding, and then with everything he had done until he found me. The location, the photographer, the DJ and some small details had already been developed. So I immediately «went» in search of a good and passionate videographer, and from two recommendations I immediately arrived at Cristi Coman, for whom I had a feeling, with whom I met at any time after Andreea and who exceeded my expectations and certainly delivered our event.
Since Andreea wanted custom guests, with gold and green, with good quality support, I sent her some models that we worked on at the time for Avatar Stuff. In about two weeks they were ready. I also provided them with a wedding site, because I thought it would be easier for them to handle friend confirmations with the RSVP form online than via phone and I said, because Andreea had big emotions with the ring and they seemed like a small part of the things to do.

In the meantime Andreea found her dress and ordered it, the ideas for the decoration also appeared, after which there were evenings of discussions on the most diverse things, from colors, to models, to flowers, to the salon, to how it should look or be made. Since I took the dessert buffet out of the scheme quite quickly, we came up with the idea of mini-clamps on the plate, with which guests will be welcomed and in which they will find their tastes. I chose scrolls because they are Razvan’s favorite cakes. And because Andreea would have a big cake, just hers!

With the flowers it was simple. Andreea chose a don’t organize, That is, simple flowers, placed in a vase, with water, leaves and tips. I chose pale pink roses, of different varieties and arranged them in the morning, as soon as we arrived on site, in transparent cylinders. I chose them, I bought them and I also transported them with care (and emotions) from Bucharest to Ploiesti. I was lucky, it wasn’t very hot and I arrived at my destination well 🙂
The beautiful flowers, however, i.e. the bouquets and candles, were made by the talented Cristina of Petals Floral Workshop who, coincidentally, met with my brides 🙂

Andreea very much wanted a lively wedding, where the world could enjoy. They told me about the dancers for the event and I immediately thought of a dance lesson, simple and fun, ad hoc, for all the guests. I contacted the dance schools contacted in time, but only fate made us make a decision until shortly before the event. Since I didn’t know the dance schools that had sent me the offer for the artistic moment I imagined, I simply delayed and put it off as long as I could. Until one day, when I get an email from Razvan, a professional dancer, who is also inspired to call me and talk to me about why he is offering and how is a time for marriage going. It was what I was looking for and I had (again) a good feeling, because I dared to ask him on the spot if he was available for the wedding and if he could give some kind of dance lesson. I discovered that there wasn’t such a moment at the first edition, I also received a video to see what it was about and I immediately had Andrei’s approval.

We talked about Photo Corner from the beginning, I knew I wanted it, but I didn’t have in mind how we would make it, what backdrop to use and where we would buy the fun props that make Photo-Corner such a fun place. Just before the wedding I managed to mobilize and put the whole idea together, I rented a booth for the photo studio, ordered the background material and found Carmen, from Bows & Pie Design, who made us some must-haves and fun messages, which we played with a bit 🙂

It was a very successful party, the brides danced almost all night and I was very pleased to see them smile, close to their family and friends.
You can admire the photos of the event here.
Oh, I should have forgotten. I worked with Andreea and made a «copacel» with fingerprints. Which I printed very well on everything, on framed canvas. It must be said that people really enjoyed «painting» a memory for the two brides with their fingers.
