We also have beautiful places!

My problem with wedding «locations» starts in Bucharest. Our somewhat dusty capital, with old, but newer restaurants, where every man with a lot of banet makes a club, a cafe or, more recently, a ballroom. Here you can find Horeca Square with all types of offers for events. Most of the events we have organized have taken place in Bucharest and I know what each of them can offer, at least I have crossed the threshold once.

Perhaps I will go into more detail about restaurateurs, the lack of training in the sector, professionalism and other constants in the sector in an article. Today I only think about the rooms, the halls and the gardens themselves, the places to rent or negotiate if two people want to have their wedding and from which they have to choose something. I was saying that Bucharest bites dance halls and restaurants, and also in any hotel we find a room designed for conferences to offer immediately and a place for the wedding. In other words, in Bucharest It’s easy to find the wedding venue you like. OR It’s not?

Rather not, otherwise I won’t explain my pang in my heart when I meet for the first appointments with clients and consult a list (longer or smaller) of potential places for dreams of guilt and for joy. The truth is rather sad: Bucharest is oriented towards family events only on a marketing level. Specifically, I can count on the fingers of one hand the places I really love and I would take any client, no matter how pretentious, with my eyes closed. The rooms are too big or too small. You have problems with the light. Where there are large windows they took care to put the most opaque and ugly curtains. They have columns or poles inside that are only well «decorated». They have poor quality furniture. Horeca chairs unchanged over the years, with cigarette burns and stains, which we only have to cover in the kitchen.

The wonderful places in us are like mermaids: we only hear them from stories. And I willingly generalize, because what you see in this general is the best accessible. Here people get there faster, with a Google search or a visit to the wedding fair. Because it seems to me that the beautiful wedding venues are the ones most hidden from the eyes of the world, which are promoted most timidly or not at all.

I don’t want to conclude without sliding here and into a list of particular places that I have seen, that others have told me about or that I have «smelled» from the photos (sometimes too few to be able to express a more accurate judgement).
